Criterion Packaging has a good range of studio facilities to accept your finished artwork files by email. Please see below for the best way to supply this.
I will be supplying my own artwork for you to use.
Templates can be supplied for any product we will be supplying to you. Just let us know if you need template files and we will provide them. Our studio uses Adobe Creative Cloud programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Submit all artwork in CMYK colours and preferably in vector format. Our preferred file types are .eps and .pdf. Supplying your files in one of these types, makes for a smoother route to production. All fonts used in artwork should be supplied or converted to outline/paths. Images should be at least 300dpi for a good quality reproduction. All image formats can be supplied. All images placed in the document must also be supplied. It is much better to embed images.
Please do not use overprint or transparency effects on your file as these will not print as they appear on screen.
Cutter guides and templates are not required for the printing process, so please make these easily removable from your artwork, if you are to supply them on your file. For full colour jobs, please add 5mm bleed to all outer edges of the file, and keep critical text and images 5mm away from the outer edges and any internal welds to ensure the best quality result. Single colour screen printed jobs are generally printed on blank stock, so please keep all artwork 7mm away from the outer edges and any internal welds to ensure the best quality result.

No problem if you don’t have final artwork for your project, don’t worry we can help. We will gladly assist you in the layout and setting of your images and text. Simply send us what you have, and we’ll create artwork that gets the most from your product. If you can supply us with the text and the images you want to be used, then we can set these out for you. Text can be supplied for example in a simple text document. Images can be accepted in just about any format, however please bear in mind that low resolution images, such as those used for websites, generally are not good enough for print work and will give a poor result.
We will proof all work of this kind with you before going to print, and should we think the images of poor quality, we will advise you at the proofing stage.
